Read chapter 4, "April." On Monday, we will meet with small groups to discuss the first 6 chapters of the book through your literary lense.
Also, you will need a recipe for a food that is important in your family traditions. Talk to your family! Bring in a recipe by Monday. We will be writing process narratives very similar to the chapters in the book that incorporate your recipe into a narrative about a family gathering.
